Exciting Announcement!

I am thrilled to announce that Chad and Angela Parker have accepted our invitation to return to Tupelo Children’s Mansion to work closely with us as Executive Vice President and Executive Assistant. They are both eminently qualified to fill these respective positions.

Bro. and Sis. Parker have been working side-by-side in ministry since before they were married, from working together to launch a campus ministry while in college, to executing the mission of Royalwood Church in Houston, Texas. The Parkers are driven by a love for people and a desire to advance the Kingdom of God. Married in 2000, they have witnessed the miraculous power of God working throughout their lives. This power is especially evident in the beautiful family with which they have been blessed. The Parker family includes Christopher and his daughter, Hailey; Ben and his wife, Tamara, and their children, Killian and Atticus; Kaedon; Keeley; and Audrey Kate.

Bro. Parker is an ordained minister with the UPCI. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is a Licensed Master Social Worker and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has served the last six years at Royalwood Church as the Executive Pastor, and was the Student Pastor for two years prior. He is the Administrator for The Center for Apostolic Counseling, and is an Adjunct Professor of Social Work at Urshan College. He has also maintained a small counseling practice for the past 2 years.

Sis. Parker has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. She has extensive knowledge of church and nonprofit finance, human resources, and business communications. She has served in various leadership positions in the local church, as well as serving as a sectional ladies’ ministry president. Often “behind the scenes,” she has a proven record of successfully organizing and executing events from small to large; she believes details and excellence matter. Through all of her roles, she finds no greater joy than being with her family.

The Parkers are no strangers to Tupelo Children’s Mansion. Prior to arriving at Royalwood Church eight years ago, they had been on staff at TCM for nine years. Bro. Parker served as the Director of Residential Services and Sis. Parker was the Comptroller. During their time at TCM, they served as houseparents, teachers, worked in Sponsor Relations, and were involved in other roles, as needed. They are very excited about this new chapter of their lives, serving this beloved institution.
