There are moments in life that catch us completely off guard. An unexpected diagnosis. A closed door. A sudden loss. A change of plans we never saw coming.

We may be surprised, but God never is.

Before we knew there was a need, He already knew the answer. Before we reached the crossroads, He had already seen the destination. The God who declares “the end from the beginning” is never caught off guard by our circumstances.

Sometimes we imagine that God is reacting to events as they unfold, much like we do. But Scripture paints a very different picture. God is never scrambling for a solution or adjusting His plans because of an unexpected turn. Nothing has ever occurred to Him. Nothing has ever taken Him by surprise. What seems sudden to us has always been fully known to Him.

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done…”

That truth doesn’t answer every question we have about life, but it gives us a solid place to stand. We may not understand every circumstance, but we can trust the One who does. The God who sees the whole journey is faithfully guiding each step along the way.

Whatever lies ahead, you can move forward with confidence. The God who already knows the end is faithfully leading you every step of the way.
